Meyling Marin, a native of Nicaragua, immigrated to the United States in 2012. Armed with a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Meyling initially struggled to find a position in her field. Recognizing her passion for customer service, she made a career pivot and joined an insurance agency in Fontana, California, as an insurance broker in 2013. Within a year, Meyling’s dedication and skill led to her appointment as the location’s manager.
In her role, Meyling identified a crucial need for improved service, not just in tailoring insurance policies but also in handling claims. This realization prompted her to establish her own insurance agency in 2017, aligning with Farmers Insurance, renowned for its exceptional claims experience.
Despite encountering numerous challenges as an immigrant, Meyling’s unwavering determination and adherence to core values such as honesty, transparency, perseverance, focus, and determination propelled her forward. Her commitment to outstanding customer service has earned her multiple awards, such as Topper Clubs, Commercial Elite Agent, Agency of Year in 2020, Life Blue Vase, Premium Growth agency including the prestigious “President’s Council” club award from Farmers Insurance, an honor reserved for the top 1% of all Farmers Insurance Agents.
Beyond her persona as an empowered business woman, lies a compassionate individual dedicated to community service. Meyling is actively involved with Prosperity Homes, a non-profit organization focused on constructing homes for low-income families in Mexico.
